Biography

Stephanie Cubba, DPA, is the vice president for institutional advancement and special assistant to the president at ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Saint Mary’s University. During her decade-plus tenure as vice president, she has overseen a highly successful capital campaign and has provided ongoing leadership and planning for ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Saint Mary’s institutional and individual giving teams, alumnae relations, communications and marketing, university & external events, and advancement services. Cubba was previously the director of the Women’s Leadership program and the Institutional Research and Student Outcomes Assessment at the ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï, and she served as a contributing author and editor of the University’s groundbreaking Report on the Status of Women and Girls in California™She has also taught courses in sociology and leadership studies. 

Apart from the ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï, Cubba also served as vice president for institutional advancement for Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, senior market research director at Market Facts Inc., in Encino; and marketing manager and primary research specialist at TMP Worldwide. She has been a member of the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.  

Cubba has a bachelor’s in law and society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a master’s in sociology from California State University of Los Angeles, and a doctorate in public administration from the University of La Verne.
