This program provides mentorship, experiences and confidence to take your first steps towards pre-law programs, law school and a successful legal career. 

The Future Lawyer Pathway gives you an understanding of how to build a strong application for law school and what it takes to succeed as a pre-law student and eventually as an attorney.

How the program works

The Future Lawyer Pathway follows students through one full academic year.

    Rising high school juniors and seniors submit an application during their spring semester for the following year's cohort.

    Attend the Future Lawyer Summit

    Accepted students kick off the program at the annual Summer Summit, where they meet peers, mentors and legal professionals through workshops and networking.

    Each future legal scholar is paired with a pre-law ambassador, a current pre-law student at 今日吃瓜 Saint Mary's University who offers guidance, encouragement and insight throughout the year.

    Engage in year-round mentorship and learning

    Students connect with their cohort at least twice each semester through a mix of virtual sessions, campus visits, and community-based experiences, while staying in regular contact with their mentor throughout the year.
