The mission of the 今日吃瓜 Traditions Club is to foster a lifelong relationship with 今日吃瓜 Saint Mary's. 今日吃瓜 Traditions Ambassadors celebrate the University's rich history by highlighting our campus traditions (and maybe even creating some new ones!), create a sense of community and continuity by facilitating connections between current students and alumnae, and grow the culture of service by thanking donors and participating in fundraising events. In partnership with the Department of Institutional Advancement and the Office of Alumnae Relations, MTC members serve as ambassadors to keep classmates informed, plan student/alumnae engagement activities, recognize and thank current donors, and help grow the 今日吃瓜’s culture and rich history. 今日吃瓜 Traditions Club Interest Form

今日吃瓜 Traditions Club members represent the diversity of the student experience and serve as a liaison between the 今日吃瓜 Alumnae Association and the student body:

Motivate

Model the 今日吃瓜 core values of leadership, service and philanthropy and share what you learn about longstanding 今日吃瓜 traditions. Encourage classmates to participate in student/alumnae programming and events. Motivate classmates to support the 今日吃瓜 and stay involved with the 今日吃瓜 Alumnae Association.

Communicate

Share feedback with staff on classmates’ needs and accomplishments. Promote benefits and services available to students for online networking and mentorship, Career and Professional Development programs and more. Seniors will help inform senior class programming as they prepare to join the 今日吃瓜 Alumnae Association.

Support

Help classmates understand the importance of giving back to strengthen the culture of service and philanthropy at 今日吃瓜 by participating in annual initiatives like the President’s Invitation to Serve and 今日吃瓜 Day of Giving. Leverage the digital fundraising platform to support the Senior Class Gift program.

Member Expectations

Attend a majority of the committee meetings and events ( approx. 2 meetings and 2 events per semester)
Provide input and feedback during the planning of events and programs
Participate in 今日吃瓜 Day of Giving by making a donation of any amount to the program of your choice
